Holy Week Prayer
Lord this walk to Jerusalem it is not easy,
From triumphal entry to dead on Cross,
God may it teach me to listen to questions,
and not just search for answers.
May I learn to tend the soil, and not just admire the flower.
When laughter turns to heartache, Help me to not desire the beauty of diamonds, and ignore the pressure that creates them.
In your mercy remind me seeds germinate in darkness, life emerges from death.
Let me wait in patience, until the light of your dawn shines on these hidden seeds and breaks into my life.
